Magwood Forest School

Magwood Forest School has made our entire year. I can't think of a better place for my 5-year old to be in the midst of a global pandemic. From the inbuilt COVID risk benefits of outdoor learning, a micro-cohort and a parent community committed to risk reduction... to a classroom environment rooted in nature; an inquisitive and creative approach to bringing the childrens' whole selves into that classroom; and a teaching system that is both deliberate and flexible... Magwood has delivered on every front. In addition to being an exceptional space for learning and play, Magwood is led by an outdoor educator and teacher whose ability to teach wholistically is matched by her ability to navigate the complexities of teacher-parent relationships and education in context of COVID with incredible integrity. We couldn't be luckier than to be part of this community and will carry so many lessons forward from this experience!
