Social distancing measures in effect. Lots of variety of products, well kept and clean. One of the most fresh meat departments I know. The cooked food selection is good, not the best Chinese BBQ I've had but definitely not the worst. It's very big, so if you make a list, it will assist and you don't wonder around too much. It does get crowded on the weekends so be warned and grab a cart from outside.
Awesome spot to grab groceries. This place has pretty much everything you'd see in a Canadian grocery store, and then you have an equivalent amount of East-Asian foodstuff and goods.
Grabbed a piece of fresh trout which cooked beautifully. Chinese baked goods, Japanese Lays chips flavours... lots of good stuff!
Has most of my Southeast Asian ingredients I need. This place is huge!
Word Up!
I visited the food court at Nations in the Stockyards to treat myself to their fried tilapia. Two for $5 is a pretty sweet deal!
I decided to get the bbq pork rib combo priced at $12.99, buy one get one free!!
It consisted of two slabs of ribs corn on the cob and a baked potato.
At dinnertime I added butter to the corn, and butter and dry thyme to the potatoes.
I tasted the ribs and knew there was flavor since I tasted it had clove. I like BBQ sauce, which this did not have.
I reheated in the microwave for 2 mins, then decided to spread some Kraft strawberry jam on the ribs? Genius!(Yes, I watch Chopped marathons!)
I found this meals enormous( enough for 2meals) and very delicious!
I have no idea how long this deal is gonna last...comes with any combo of equal or lesser value.
I did not get the chicken meal because I've previously purchased the chicken found that the meat had this weird and unusual crunch? Not crunchy skin, but crunchy meat.
Yup, I recommend the ribs and make sure you have BBQ sauce or strawberry jam!
