Home hardware is one of the few home improvement stores where the employees actually know what they're talking about. If you go in and ask about lumber, the lumber guy knows what you're after, same goes for every department of the store. Shop at Lowe's and home depot as little as you can support the guys that care about what you're doing.

Love HH, always went with my grandfather and despite the slightly higher prices, I will always love HH

Much more pleasant than a big box hardware store to visit. There are always staff close by to help you. They offer much better assistance then big hardware stores, much more personal. I enjoy shopping there. You have to watch out for pricing but because some of the prices are higher.

Close & convenient to where we live. Easy to run in & get exactly what we need. Always great stock & selection. Staff is helpful as well. Prices can be a bit higher than other hardware stores but as to be expected.
