“Park is small, but view is amazing during sunset.”

“This is an excellent spot for scenic views over Cambridge to the north and east. There's good asphalt trails from all directions to get here by foot, bike or otherwise. Nice big playground at the top, with a splash pad during the summer, and a tobogganing hill in the winter. There's also a baseball diamond, soccer field, and lots of open space for dog walking and other activities.”

“Love the spray pad. They've improved a lot, the water stays on longer, and there are four sprays instead of one.”

“Fort Night Park bad, Mine Craft Park good”

“This place is absolutely beautiful! The willow trees and the river running through it were the key selling features for me. There were ducks with their ducklings, birds singing, and even a neighbourhood barbecue going on when I visited. Stunning! I would love to visit with a good book and just spend hours reading. Plus, saw a cute little baby turtle while I was there. And I adored the tunnel going under the nearby road.”

“I drive by it every day... blink and you miss it... not really sure what it's there for. I guess if you walked over and had a closer look... might be more to see. They change them occasionally or seasonally”

“Great park, love the new okay areas for kids... the rubber ground makes it cleaner and safer!”

“Play park is nice, updated, kids had fun. Baseball diamonds would benefit greatly with a fence separating them. I've seen much better diamonds. The bathrooms behind the stands were closed. That was annoying coming from someone that had two kids and a dog to have to venture all the way down to the parking lot to take them to the bathroom. Would benefit to open those back up. The stands could also use updating and a safety net.”

“Tiny but tidy little park. Very quiet and peaceful but on a steep hill so you'll be a touch sweaty by the time you reach the top. Toddler friendly swings which my son enjoyed :)”

“This Victoria Park Hespeler play ground structure was completely updated at the end of 2017 as part of Canada150. With rubberized ground, accessible play stucture ramps along with an accessible swing set it is a truly safe and modern play area. This large park offers lots of shady seating for parents along with picnic tables, public restrooms, 4 baseball diamonds (canteen open most game days) and the original splash pad. Even in winter this park shines with an outdoor ice rink in the main diamond near Fisher Mills parking lot which is well cared for by local volunteers. We really hope in future the playground will expand to accommodate older kids as well. The original structure had large/higher slides, fire poles, towers etc.. No doubt though this park is awesome for kids up to around grade 5.”

“Flush with lilacs.”

“Fisher mills street is a busy street right beside the park. A fence would make me feel that my kids are safer when running around on the playset. The speed does drop down to 40km but I noticed cars whipping past without slowing down.”

“Fun open spot. Our dog Piper was loving running through the fields. Not sure that would be possible in the busier season when there are more dogs and people.”
