Good beer friendly service and knowledgeable staff to help with all your beer questions or just to talk about beer!
Love this place!
Must try, must see, must visit! Highly recommended.
The whole team at TWB went above and beyond for my group and gave us an unforgettable experience. Every single person I dealt with was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Peter was amazing! Incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. And the beers were AWESOME!
From the exceptionally flavoured 'Not Into Yoga - Milkshake IPA' with pure and powerful flavours pushing through from actual coconut and pineapple purée (so good!) to 'Tart Thing', a light, approachable, balanced sour. Every beer was very enjoyable and worth a try. One of my many stand-outs was 'Volkssommer' a delightfully complex Kotbusser/ Kottbusser brewed with raw ginger, amongst several other ingredients, that gives the taste of ginger root without the bite.
(Note, after doing extensive research I chose TWB specifically because on paper it sounded like they'd be able to offer one of the best experiences in the area. Through they're excellent beers, outstanding customer service.. and Peter.. they far exceeded expectations. Thank you to the whole team at TWB for being awesome!)
p.s. TWB also does a bunch of other amazing stuff, such as paying living wages so that any cash left behind is donated towards charities.. and more!
Cool indy brewery set out of the way in Kitchener that provides a more relaxed experience. A number of beers on tap and available within the store (the Volksommer is fabulous) and the food is fantastic and fresh. Another thing to take note is that employees are paid a "living wage" and TWB recommends contributing whatever tip you were going to leave to charity and/or purchases in the store.
This is a nice little mom and pop kinda brewing company. They have small yet good collection of in-house brews that can be enjoyed on their patio. They don’t have a kitchen of their own but there’s an on-premise food truck serving Brazilian poutine. Or was it Portugese... I forget!
Great people!
Love the craft beer. Can’t wait for patio season!!
