Dollarama

Good clean stocked store.. never too busy. In and out just like you want

My usual place to go for odds and sods, wherever I've lived. Probably better than Costco and Walmart, if you want to avoid large crowds during covid.

Okay store, pretty average as dolloramas come. Decent service and convenient for the neighborhood.

Great dollar store. Really large and clean! One of the biggest!

More for corporate than any specific location. Dollaramas generally are having trouble with distancing due to narrow aisles and no one following up and downs. It's hard because people want and need to "browse a little" but I'll be going as little as possible now til Christmas.
I also have a beef not addressed to my satisfaction re: zero return policy. Now that most things are "more than $1" and often $4 I resent it when they sell products that do NOT work and/or are not functional for my space although I don't know that until I get it home. I'm sorry if you can't return it where it came from but when I worked in manufacturing my proverbial rump would be whacked if product didn't make it through quality control, and the entire shifts would have been whacked if it made it out the door to the customer. "LOSS OF CONTRACT loomed over our heads" It inspired a great work ethic!
