Such a welcoming and warm environment. From beginners to the experts, everyone can enjoy their yoga practice with Megan

I stumbled upon The Attic while looking for a power flow class. I remember the first time I was a little uneasy going through the gate and up the stairs, but I walked into a space that was more welcoming and comfortable than I could have imagined and immediately felt right where I should be. I have so much fun and find the classes here so fulfilling. Megan has explained movements to me that I previously thought my body couldn’t do, but it just clicked! She is profoundly good at what she does. I also really enjoy how Dahlia and Sandra always keep their sequences fresh and full of… I don’t know if I can explain it, but I love how I feel after every class. I am so grateful to be able to practice here.

I've been regularly attending The Attic since July of 2019. I have been practicing yoga on and off for about 6 years at various studios in Vancouver, Oshawa, Oakville, Cambridge, and Kitchener and I have to say that the Attic is by far my favourite. Everyone is looking for something different in a practice, the following review details why The Attic is right for me. It offers an intimate setting and the owner/teacher of many classes is an absolute gem - you will immediately connect with her and feel at home in the studio.

The classes at The Attic are variant, you can choose to heat up or cool down the intensity of many classes due to the suggestions and offerings of the teacher. You get back what (you want) to put in. These classes are unique, engaging, and fun. There''s something for everyone + every mood for the week (Flows, Yins, Arm Balances, Rocket, Flow + HIIT, etc.). I never feel as though I've pushed myself too far, I've never had an injury or strain from a class, and I believe my yogi capabilities have progressed significantly since July 2019. Megan has a way of guiding you to and beyond your potential in a beautiful way.

Being a part of The Attic community has kept me accountable and returning class after class. I feel so lucky to get to connect in such an intimate way with the teachers and students here enhancing my practice. There are so many teachers here that have added to my experience immensely including Sandra DelaRonde and Dahlia Ibraham. Both wonderful teachers that help me move my abilities further and raise my yogi confidence.

The Attic also contains many well thought out and local products that are definitely worth checking out. I've tried deodorant, body sprays, and some The Attic apparel which I love immensely.

    You. Must. Go.
Megan is the sweetest of souls and will make you feel welcome immediately. She inspires me to push myself and grow in my practice. A real community feel to studio as well.
Oh! And did I mention the tea she provides each class? In mini mason jars :)
    100% guarantee - you'll ❤ it here!

Megan is a kind and beautiful soul. She makes everybody who comes through her door feel so welcomed, and treats everybody as if they are a long time friend of hers. I have met very few people that are as kind hearted as Megan, and I'm glad that I discovered The Attic Yoga, because I now have a new friend in my life.

In her restorative classes, Megan encourages ultimate relaxtion and she goes out of her way to be sure that you acheive that. Her restorative/Yin classes include light massage, essential oils, and if you're lucky, you might make it on a class where there is live music. At the end of the class, she spends time getting to know everyone, and she thanks everyone personally for being there. She will always recommend future classes to you, and always encourages you to "try it out" even if you have never done it before. Again, everyone is welcomed and no one is pushed out of the door. Stay for the rotating David's Tea, and soak in the sun on her patio overlooking Downtown Kitchener.

The space is beautiful. Its warm, bright, and creative. She has a large supply of yoga mats if you haven't brought your own, and she has everything you could need to enjoy your practice (BEAUTIFUL bolsters, comfy blankets, and Yoga blocks. Even Saje yoga spray). Check out her tshirts, the artisinal soaps and oils, and so much more.

I can't wait to see what The Attic Yoga has to come, and I can't wait to watch it grow. It is a treasure to DTK.
