While coming into the course for First Aid Instructor, I was nervous, scared, felt a lack of knowledge, and intimidated on who else could be attending from paramedics to doctors. From the introduction of the course to the evaluation at the end of the course, those insecurities disappeared. Susie had a way to interact with the students to get them to relax and encourage them. There were some challenges throughout the weekend, but Susie never lost her composure and was encouraging the students right through the course.
Myself being a manager in my company that sees all types of employees, Susie is a keeper! Her instructional strategies were amazing. I am not sure if she gets a lot of praise, but I wanted to pass this along, as it's always great to hear things about your team.
I came to this place to renew my First Aid trainee status and I fell in love with it. Firstly, the staff is friendly and welcoming. The whole building is clean, well-maintained, cozy, stocked and of course, perfectly safe (I mean, even a little step in the floor has a step so people walking thru doesn't trip or fall).
When we arrived the classroom was prepared: mannequins and supplies on each chair, we started our training punctual and exactly at the time it was supposed to start. The instructor kept the pace fast, however the lessons were clear and interesting, his comments were on point, he paid attention to all of us while practicing the exercises and corrected us promptly.
The course went as scheduled, doubts cleared, exams reviewed, spirits high. After exploring this place and interacting with the staff, you can define this site with one word: READINESS.
I totally recommend this location for your training needs. St John Ambulance has plenty of parking, the area is easy to reach, and the staff is just amazing. Who knows, maybe one day you will meet them again, hopefully not by "accident".
Awesome just Awesome my instructor name martha she is awesome
Still offering health and safety education despite pandemic restrictions. Excellent social distancing in class rooms
A wonderful place with an extremely helpful staff who do their best to help you ascertain the proper level of training you need or want. Their courses are affordable and they have a good supply of first aid kits for sale if you are looking for those.
