Great food and atmosphere. Excellent date night spot.
Super friendly service and excellent Italian food. There's a casual down to earth atmosphere that's really refreshing. I had their pizza and it was delicious. The patio vibes really well with the atmosphere of Belmont Village. Highly recommended!
This restaurant is in a very high volume location. To get in, apparently reservations are required. I was disappointed in that we had a fairly large group, but until another pair of patrons left, they did not have sufficient chairs to seat our entire group, so they were separated. There was a reservation made, so they should have been aware of our numbers and planned accordingly. The location did not have the capacity it would seem to handle the peak of traffic. On the upside, parking was easy to get in the rear.
The food was average, at least for what I ordered. They seem to use way too much tomato paste. I felt that what I ordered (the veal) was too little veal and too much tomato paste. The quantity of tomato paste tended to drown out the rest of the veal, which I could not taste and I had to separate the tomato paste from the veal. Once separated, there was not very much veal. Considering the price, I would say that the portion size is quite small.
On the plus side, the service is quite friendly, and the staff seem to be doing a good job when considering the volume. The appetizers were also reasonably well executed, and although I did not drink any alcohol during my visit as I was driving home that day, I am told that the wine choices were well regarded by my colleagues.
Overall, I do feel that they need to be better prepared for larger groups and that there are improvements needed in the menu. The staff though is pretty friendly and the appetizers are pretty decent.
Delicious dinner for two tonight. I remembered coming here 20 years ago and loving. I hoped it would be as good as I remembered. It wasn't. It was even better!
Wonderful food and excellent service.
Everything made homemade except the noodles, this Italian restaurant had delicious food. The interior was nicely finished and had large windows. Fast service and tall drinks. We had spaghetti and meatballs and chicken penne. The only downside was the table being very sticky.
