Always a great experience here. Menu refreshes, friendly service, lovely atmosphere. Key highlights that stand out in KW: properly ventilated, so you don’t leave smelling like the kitchen, + good light and sound levels. Parking in the area is a hassle (for some reason RH doesn’t have use of the always-empty parking lot beside it), so give yourself time to find a spot if you drive.
A delightful experience. The cocktails and wine were excellent, and a delicious offering of weekend specials were available. The celery and blue cheese soup was to die for, a combination I never would have imagined, with a nutty parsley topping. I never knew celery could be so delicious. I followed this up with the curry bowl which was exceptional, I will likely struggle to order anything else off the menu in future as a result of it being so incredible, I’ll want it every time I go :). The service, food and overall ambiance was top notch. Highly recommend
Had higher expectations of this place but the food wasn’t outstanding.
The shrimp and meat balls were really unique and had an Asian twist. However, small portion size. The Cornish hen was pretty dry, and not outstanding in taste. The lamb spaghetti was really good, would recommend.
It’s a nice local vibe but on the pricier side for what you get.
Impressive place for a nice night out. The food was fantastic and nicely presented. The soup options on the day we visited were coconut Thai soup (spicy) and chickpea soup (mild). For mains, we had the lamb spaghetti and the Lebanese Cornish hen. Both were great. The cornish hen is a breaded cutlet rather than a whole (or half) bird. The spinach and beet salad was quite tasty and the portion size was big. We had the cardamom cheesecake which was beautifully presented and delicious. I highly recommend this place. Parking was difficult to find. We ended up parking at the LCBO and then walking to the restaurant.
The Red House is a top notch culinary experience and is an amazing spot to eat. Small and intimate, the food is delicious and well worth the slightly higher than average cost. I recommend the bone marrow to start and finish with a crème brûlée. Your main will be delicious regardless of which you choose! 5 star service and 5 star food!
