Lady Glaze Doughnuts

Has potential.

The donut I had was good, but I wasn't like "Oh my God, I have to have another one right away!" Frosting is a light glaze, and doesn't overpower the taste of the dough. Each donut is pricey compared to Tim Hortons, but they're higher quality and a bit larger, so the cost for one isn't that big a deal. I couldn't imagine myself paying $48 for a dozen though.

I agree with another reviewer that suggested they make some signs telling you what each type of donut is, since you can't really tell what's what at a glance.

I also think they could offer a fancier selection of drinks. At the moment they just have stuff like basic coffee, tea, and bottled juices. It'd be nice if I could get a good hot chocolate to go with my donut, for example.

Although the donut taste pretty good presentation is lacking.

When you get a donut from say Red eye cafe it looks like perfection....the donuts here were stacked on top of one another, icing is coming off and overall just not presented correctly for a so called "designer" donut

The Doughnuts are OK to good, clearly made with care and not too sweet. The atmosphere is a bit grim though. We were there mid-morning and I've never seen such a line-up of grumpy faces behind the counter. I get that it's probably hectic right now when the hype is going but I've not felt so unwelcome in a shop in a while.

The ice storm didn't stop us from coming in and trying this place. Definitely worth it. My husband and friends loved the doughnuts. They also have a vegan option but I came too early while they were still rolling it out so I didn't get a chance to try it. I'll have to come back ;)

I’ve been there three times with my family so far (two young kids). Each experience has exceeded our expectations. Every doughnut type has a unique, delicious flavour. Great job Lady Glaze! Looking forward to our next visit!
