(December 27, 2018, 10:11 pm)Went there today with friends for lunch. The waitress was amazing and super attentive, and very pleasant. My husband and I each ordered the Golden Harvest Burger ( a bacon cheeseburger). Now let’s remember this is a truck stop restaurant, I can’t say I didn’t see many truckers eating there and I am guessing because of the exorbitant pricing for the food they can’t afford to eat there. The burger ordered was $12.95, oh wait if you want french fries that’s another $2.75 ( frozen run of the mill ones) Now granted if I was at one of the fancy burger bars I wouldn’t complain. If I was getting $2.75 worth of French fries I wouldn’t complain. The burgers had a really funny taste and they were really dark in colour. I am, guessing they are home made but I think someone was heavy handed with the Worcestershire sauce as that is all you could taste. If it wasn’t the sauce then the burgers were bad and I guess we will know in a few hours. In the end it was small portions and bad tasting burgers, expensive coffeee as well.
