Dutchie's Fresh Market - Waterloo Location

Local grocers are the way to go. Amazing quality and pricing on meat/fresh veggies. Fresh berries are often a steal here. Lots of (expensive-ish) artisan goods which will appeal to some.

Absolutely love this place. Amazing prices, and the staff are always so kind and friendly. The older lady who does the samples is such a kind hearted sweet woman, my two little ones get super excited when we come here because they love the "sausage lady" as they call her. She recognizes our kids and always approaches them with a smile, and a quick chat. People like this are a huge reason for businesses succeeding and becoming popular. The little things really do count. The cashiers are always very friendly, shelves are always stocked, and even though it's a small place they keep it tidy and it has a lovely local feel to it. Never had a bad experience here and we shop here at least 3 times a week for fresh vegetables and fruit, keep doing what you guys are doing because many people would prefer to shop here then to be just another number in a big grocery chain.

Good prices on most groceries. Watch the fruit, it doesn't have much life left. Great place to buy meat. In particular, if you're able to go on a stairway evening you'll be able to save money as they are trying to sell off the remaining produce and meat. I appreciate that they are closed on Sunday to allow for a day to spend as a family.

It was my first time going to Dutchie's today and I was pleasantly surprised! The products were very fresh and affordable, and there were meat/jam/produce samples scattered all over the store. I really appreciate how they sell "ugly" produce on a discounted price rather than throwing it away. Most of the packaged meat portions were big so I asked the butcher for a smaller package and they were very nice and accommodating. Even though it's a bit of a trek to get here for me, I'm definitely coming back soon!
