The China Bowl

I got their kung pao chicken and really loved it. The peppers were prepared very well and held a lot of taste and texture. Their rice is separate. They have tofu options. Also staff was really sweet.

Probably not the most authentic Sichuan food but they are good enough in the WATERLOO region. You can get 10% off if you pay cash just ask.

The restaurant is becoming more and more english friendly. Unfortunately, their menu doesn’t include the list of ingredients, but food’s worth the try. I recommend order a few dishes and share among the friends. If you’re a group of 4, I’d go for 3 to 4 dishes to share and order a big bowl of rice to share on top. Their dishes are on the saltier side, so just a fair warning for your friends who are sensitive to salt level. They serve at a decent speed. They offer discount if you pay cash (like 5% off...)

The food here is so flavourful, and the portions are large! There are so many choices and the menu is easy to understand cause all their options have a big picture. Will definitely come back again, I'd love to try everything on the menu!

Also, the pork and leek dumplings are to die for!
