Hobo Haven Rescue

I have worked with Hobo Haven Rescue both assisting with small website additions, and recently as a foster. I was initially drawn to the rescue because of how much time, dedication, and love Chris and the team puts towards each and every dog. With a thorough application, and a kind, careful and considerate process, I feel confident that the dogs they care for will each find their perfect home. As first time fosters, Chris has been there with us every step of the way, celebrating the wins and providing great advice and recommendations whenever it is needed. We have already come a long way, and made some great progress. It's also been amazing to see the community rally behind our foster dog and his healing journey. It has truly been such a valuable experience for our family.

Hobo Haven has a really thorough adoption application and will go through stacks of applications to find the perfect match for these sweet rescue dogs. You can tell that they want these dogs to find their forever home away from the trauma they have already gone through. She is always looking for updates and celebrates milestones with you. All the dogs know they are safe the minute they enter Chris's vehicle for their freedom ride!!!

I am a first time foster with Hobo Haven. I absolutely love how supportive and helpful these wonderful people are! Chris delights in all of the small milestones as well as the big ones. The dog's wellbeing is 100% at heart with this organization! If I have any questions or concerns there is always open communication with quick responses full of detail to help me set our foster up for success! I cannot say enough amazing things about my short time and experience with these selfless people!

After losing my beautiful chocolate lab, I turned to Hobo Haven to adopt a new friend. I have had Mickey for 3 months and he is such a special boy. I am grateful to Chris and the entire rescue and foster team for their amazing dedication to rescuing dogs in need. The process of adoption is careful, thoughtful and thorough. Thank you for allowing me to rescue Mickey, but, I can say with certainty, Mickey also rescued me!

We adopted our dog from Hobo Haven. We could not be happier with the process. It was a thorough process, which I appreciate.
