“Today was the first time we have gone here. We ordered through the drive thru (which the speaker volume was strenuously low) with a coupon and unfortunately things were misinterpreted on both ends but the manager was so great and took the time at the drive thru window to explain the bill and quickly understood what we actually wanted. It did take about 15-20 mins for food and I went inside as I wasn't sure if I was suppose to go in or if they were bringing it out to the car as it was taking a while. Worth the wait though as the food actually stayed hot for so long when we got home. Very delicious. The gravy was actually amazing with spicing and so different from other places we have been. Definitely get the gravy...almost gives everything a more Cajun feel! Mac and cheese was nice and creamy. Fries also stayed hot and were fresh! Will be back, thanks for the great customer service.”

“Wonderful service, and a clean and modern place. We had the Original and Spicy Big Mary sandwiches and both were excellent! The potato wedges were perfectly cooked and nicely breaded, and the deep-fried pickle chips were amazing! The chicken was crispy and juicy! Everything needed a bit of salt, but we like salty and that's what salt packets are for. We'll be back for sure!”

I was able to order a vegan dinner and dessert (curry pie and brownies) for a reasonable price and they delivered it to her door. “If you think you don't like nuts, you just haven't had them from Jewels Under the Kilt. Every flavour we tried was delicious but the savoury ones are the showstoppers! So fresh, so fun, so flavourful. Lis gave us lots of great ideas for using them in recipes but who are we kidding? We had half of them eaten before we got home. If you're interested in supporting friendly local producers or just have a hankering for some truly incredible nuts (easy folks, you know what I mean), this is definitely worth the trip!”
