    I've been a member of Gridiron for the last 3 months and have nothing but praise for Chris and the other members. Chris is very welcoming, friendly and encouraging. He is able to tailor workouts to any fitness level and I would recommend Gridiron to anyone.

    Was fun while it lasted, but this information is wrong now....the box is closed, and I'm not sure if the business is still a CrossFit affiliate....

    As a frequent visitor to Guelph, I have gone to Gridiron Crossfit as a drop-in client quite a few times. Each and every time, Chris and everyone at the gym have been so welcoming and friendly. Chris has always made an effort to accommodate my schedule, even with my last-minute requests to attend classes, and his coaching cues and motivational comments are always so helpful in the middle of a workout to help you push through to do your absolute best. I would highly recommend Gridiron Crossfit to anyone looking for a great place to workout and meet good people.

    My girlfriend and I joined GridIron Crossfit in March 2013. We were both looking for an activity to motivate us and get us back into shape. We found this with Chris who motivates us every workout and pushes us to do our best. We have seen dramatic improvements in our health since starting Crossfit and have improved our diet as well.

    No idea who this Jordanna person is that submitted the recent review but we go to GridIron three to four times a week, have never had a problem with Chris and have never heard of any complaints from any male or female participants. Chris is a great motivator and coach and suggest you give him a chance.

    In the three short months since joining GridIron Crossfit I have made more progress in improving my personal fitness and strength than in the past 2 years. It feels like I no longer have to struggle with my weight, and I have eliminated back pain from my life. It feels like the converse of that famous quote from Office Space:

    "So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working [out at GridIron], every single day of my life [I have been fitter] than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the [fittest] day of my life."

    GridIron has put together a great team of trainers and has attracted the most friendly and welcoming members. Everyone does their part to make sure that there's never any worry about feeling intimidated, no matter what your comfort or fitness level. As a new member I got so much personal attention from the trainers and the other members that it was like having a personal trainer, but for a fraction of the cost and in a fun and motivating environment! In short what makes GridIron truly excceptional is the sense of community you get when you're there.

    Do yourself a favor. Give GridIron Crossfit a try. You'll love it.
