Speedvale Medical Clinic

First time there was a little over two months ago.

The doctor on duty was a recent Med-School graduate, and was very friendly and professional. There was only one problem.

I found out after the checkup that my health card had expired. So I had to pay for the visit (75$), but they carefully explained that I could be refunded after my card was renewed, by bringing in the receipt from services Ontario.

So two months later I'm back (I work full-time 8-5, and do all my chores and errands on weekends) since it's hard for me to find the time on Saturdays. Despite the complications, they were able to refund me without any hassle.

The pharmacy staff was also very polite, and I like the convenience of having them be directly connected to the clinic.

My only real issue is there current lack of a receptionist. Since the doctor on staff has to manage the waiting room between patients, leaving patients to police themselves. Which wouldn't be SO bad if fewer people in town were rude and impatient. -_-

My family and I have been there twice in the past week (for the first time) for various reasons. I must say that this is the most excellent experience I have had at a walk-in clinic and I want to commend the doctor on duty for her caring personality and willingness to take time to listen and find the correct route to pursue to address health issues. She provided referrals quickly and called me within a day with dates to see specialists. Keep up the awesome work!

I've been here twice now and both time have been positive experiences. The wait time is limited, which is amazing when you have a sick 3 year old. The staff is polite and the on staff medical student was brilliant. I absolutely love the webcam system, bringing in minds to clinics that otherwise would not have the resources. This is now my go to clinic
