My wish for new mothers is that they could all have a "Jody" to support them through their entry to motherhood. I have been so fortunate and grateful to have Jody provide my family with postpartum doula care for over six months after my son was born. Jody's compassion, knowledge and gentle guidance allowed me to feel confident as a mother and to enjoy the journey (which I am so grateful for). Jody developed such a beautiful relationship with my son that I always felt totally secure is leaving him in her care. I also appreciated that Jody was so responsive to my needs by asking for what I needed but also then anticipating my needs in the future. I am so grateful for the time and support we had from her. Jody was our family's Doula for two births and her care and compassionate services assisted us in experiencing the births that we had hoped for. From the pre-birth visits, to delivery and post-birth care, Jody listened attentively to our wants and needs for delivery and provided us with helpful educational material and guidance. In delivery Jody was a genuine, warm and positive presence that provided my partner and myself with practical support and advocacy when needed. I would highly recommend Jody and her Doula services to anyone looking for care and compassion throughout pregnancy, delivery and post delivery.

Jody was my doula for the births of both of my children. I loved my birth experiences! Jody provided me with many techniques to manage my labour and her calm coaching was so incredibly comforting. After meeting with Jody I felt much more confident and empowered about giving birth. She was very sensitive to our needs and was right where I needed her to be when labour was intense and would quietly fade into the background so my husband and I could share many precious moments. She was an excellent coach to my husband and a wonderful support during the early postpartum days. I wasn't sure about the idea of a doula during my first pregnancy. Hiring Jody is the best money we spent to prepare to become parents!
