“My kids really enjoy this park. The playground has a soft rubberized ground that is not only comfy to walk on but easy on falls. Play area overlooks the baseball/softball pitch.”

“Between abandoned buildings, adventurous trails, a diversity of wildlife, and no entry fee bond lake isn't likely to disappoint. The trails aren't always easy to travel, and it's much safer to hike here in the summer. Some flooding in some areas at certain times of year. If you want a good adventure this is a great place for it.”

“Went for a hike with my little girl and my dog. It was great long enough to get a good hike in and enough interesting things to see beside the outdoors. There some ruins from and old house and a small barn, Great for pictures.”

“This is a very unique children's park with lots of interesting features such as a zip line you can stand on that runs for about 100m, a small recessed trampoline in the ground, a metal slide running down a small hill, a series of large boulders making up a "rock hop" course, and a large hemi-spherical "web climber". There are also other pieces of standard playground equipment such as swings and plastic slides. The playground also backs onto a nice set of trails that runs through a beautiful ravine and eventually leads to another playground in a park off of the neighboring road.”

“Google asked me to review this parkette. I've agreed to provide one, as Google's strategy of gamification of place reviews has proved effective. I'm compelled to advance to a Level 5 reviewer. So, uh, here goes the review. Silver Pines is an average parkette. Were it a park, it would be well below average. But as it's not a park after all - it's a parkette, as it were - all things considered, I should say it's average.”

“A beautiful rebuild a couple years ago. Nice board walk with art statues around. Big playgrounds and splash pads. There are washrooms and a little food stand. Plenty of shade overhead. Great for families. It gets super packed with bbq's and families on nice summer days. The lake is nice. I just wonder why the city never invested anything into the actual lake front itself. Therefore this area isnt very busy but a lot of kayaks and small water crafts find use of it.”
