Top Libraries in York regional municipality, Ontario

Richmond Hill Public Library - Central Library

Address: 1 Atkinson St, Richmond Hill, ON L4C 0H5, Canada

Library

“Cons: Terrible internet connection. Not enough lightning which you will notice in the rainy days. The cafeteria only except cash which is awkward. The water coolers have a low water pressure and pour warm water. And the library is always either too cold or too hot. Pros: Lovely staff; they are all kind and helpful. Library rooms and washrooms are always clean. Great collection of books. And there is a Beautiful statue called "the girl with a book" close to the entrance. I love it.”

Cornell Library

Address: 3201 Bur Oak Ave, Markham, ON L6B 0T2, Canada

“The Cornell Library is an amazing well maintained public resource. Anyone living in the Markham region is allowed to check out books, movies and games. It houses a brilliantly maintained kids section of books. Cornell Library is located in the Cornell Community Building which also houses a pool. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. Overall it's an amazing place for anyone trying to work on their own or study. Highly Recommended.”

“Best Community Centre in Markham! Large spacious building with a pool, gym, library, and 2 arenas! It also has a tennis centre beside it with 4 courts and a new play structure and soccer field out back!”

Angus Glen Library

Address: 3990 Major Mackenzie Dr E, Markham, ON L6C 1P8, Canada

Library

“good selection of books, helpful staff, clean environment. If you want to study or read, just know that it can be a bit loud, its not as quiet as a typical library would be. But there are private rooms available that you can book if you need.”

Markham Village Library

Address: 6031 Hwy 7, Markham, ON L3P 3A7, Canada

Library

“A very large library with tons of selection. From movies, to computers to books they have it all. The staff are always very friendly and know their stuff. The inter-library transfer could be a bit faster but that is just nitpicking as it is all free. I just wish I could read fast enough to keep up with all the books I want.”

Aaniin Library

Address: 5665 14th Ave, Markham, ON L3S 3K5, Canada

Library

“New and Clean library with kind personnel, but needs a better management. The quiet study area is more like the children playground! Few recycle / garbage bins. The tables are not cleaned daily, One can take many seats, rooms, by putting belongings and no place for others to use the library. Someone need to supervise the second floor regularly.”

Milliken Mills Library

Address: 7600 Kennedy Rd #1, Markham, ON L3R 9S5, Canada

“Librarians are friendly. Some good collection and up to date movies and games. A small but dedicated area for smaller kids with activities. A dedicated room for story telling which is also good. I usually go there on Wednesday and they have movie night at around dinner time.”
