“I dont usually post reviews but i just had to rave about my experience here the other day. First of all the space is so lovely- clean, comfortable and welcoming. The new owners really thought of everything when renovating! Also, not far from some solid spots to grab a cup of coffee and a snack while you wait! The machines are all brand new and loads were super reasonably priced. I noticed that they have a 24hr security system too, which just made me feel extra safe, something to keep in mind if i needed to come later in the evening. This will absolutely be my new neighbourhood go to!”

“I highly recommend EM Tailors! I have a winter coat that had a broken zipper, not to mention few little tears in the fabric. I was hoping to get another year out of it. Not only did he do a great job on a tricky zipper, he repaired the holes! I hadn't asked because I figured it couldn't be done. “Shawn arrived to wash carpets, he started by scanning the basement carpets and stairwell with a blue light to identify any pet stains, then washed, sanitized, and deodorized them, followed by a fresh-water rinse and a "fiber rinse," which is like fabric softener for your carpets. “After moving to a new location recently, I found that occupants before me had left quite the mess. The light switches were grimy; the walls were scuffed and scraped; there was pet hair stuck to every inch of the baseboards; heck, they didn’t even have the common courtesy to wipe down the freezer’s drawers and left me a bunch of loose frozen pees and chicken nugget batter. With all of that said, how do you suppose they treated the carpeted dining room (just off the back deck) and stairs to the basement? Exactly: it was of course trashed! Cat hair, stains, and very likely a write-off and expensive replacement. Or so I thought! On a lark, I sent Capital Carpet Solutions a quick description of what I wanted done with a few photos of the wreckage. I was convinced I’d be tearing it all up with an x-acto knife and spending a couple of grand, so what was one DM inquiry going to hurt? Abdel responded promptly with his diagnosis and assured me that he could restore my carpet. On arrival, Abdel was polite, professional, and exacting in his work. He thoroughly vacuumed, treated, and then removed an incredible amount of filth from the carpet. The water that went from the faucet to his machine began as clear, but on leaving, he showed me how black it had become! Gross! For a reasonable rate, Abdel saved my carpet, so even if you are convinced that yours can’t be helped, I suggest you have this company check it out first—you’ll be glad you did!”

“Had this company do our house carpets yesterday, and were very pleased with the results. The owner, Steven has been cleaning carpets on the Bruce Peninsula for over 30 years, and you can certainly see this by his ease with assessing the tough spots, and working them first, then going back again if needed. We have used Mellior for likely 25 years, but have not needed them for the last five years, but having just moved in to a newer home, it was clear to us who we would call. Steven was right on time as promised, and took the time to go over and listen carefully to all of our concerns in a friendly way, and then was left to do his job as he is most trustworthy. And it was done in a very timely way. His truck mount extractor ensured the carpet was not left wet, so that furniture could be moved back in a few hours, and as it super heats the water to a very high temperature, the stains are no problem as they just seem to melt away. Thanks very much Steven for having always looked after us and making us proud to have guests visit, and for alerting us to money found in a corner.”

“Fairly clean, the laundry machines work pretty well, its $3 a wash and I spend about $2 to dry. $5 a load is pretty reasonable compared to other places where I've had to spend about $10 on One load. The regulars here are very kind. I sat outside as it was cooler and the washer finished before my alarm went off and a lovely regular stepped out to let me know. Is a bit cramped for space”
