Cardigan Heritage Centre

This was a hidden gem . The the young gentlemen that we had that gave us the tour and also served us our food our was great. This is a little historic site that shares its place with a restaurant. It's a very small menu but it's yummy we had almost everything on the menu lol . When we went there was Acadian meat pie which is similar to a chicken pot pie ( made with pork sometimes) I have fish, cake and beans , corn chowder. They even had grilled cheese for fussy adult or kids lol . When waiting for your food you can go dress up in . Costumes go play with toys from the day or even make a dipped candle ( cost extra) . After yummy dinner they had delicious desserts! We got the gingerbread cake and the chocolate cake and both were very good. Then after we took a a tour. The tour itself is not very long but it's very cool and very interesting. Meal and tour are two different things paid separately. There are also walking trails ( unfortunately we did not have time to go walking on them ) recommend to bring bug spray if you do go walking .
