My favorite golf course on the island! Beautiful, quiet and scenic. You often feel like you are playing on your own private course and rarely see another group.
I liked this the best of all three. It's massive so does not play to my skill set but it's a nice course. Massive fairways. Massive greens. Toughest greens of all three imo. Get a cart. It's a long drive in between some holes. The massive curbs also suck and they should look to add some ramps to get on and off the fairways. Bunkers are also all red PEI clay sand so a different play than the other course.
I’ve played this course many times. Huge fan of the design. I wish the routing didn’t require carts but if that’s the cost for a great layout, that’s fine with me. It is quite playable for all skill levels. It can be a long round, up to 5 hours, but that’s not unexpected at a resort course that is highly dependent on carts.
Most recently, I noticed the greens had quite a few pitch marks in them, which is probably a product of higher volume guest play and less membership play (speaking as a guest), but otherwise the course was in great shape. There was an issue with having too little sand in the bunkers a couple of years ago but that is no longer an issue, kudos to the grounds crew!
I was disappointed when a group behind us decided to skip a hole to jump ahead of us without asking and proceeded to hold us up for the rest of the round. We called the pro shop and were told the marshall would handle it but no such thing happened. That was something I have never seen on a golf course in my life, and I was disappointed with the lack of response. I don’t expect this to be an issue for any other guests, but still, to not have this addressed was disappointing.
As you navigate through its fairways, be prepared for your senses to be overwhelmed by the breathtaking beauty that surrounds you. The wind, cunningly weaving its way through the course, adds an exhilarating challenge to your game, demanding your utmost skill and focus. And when it comes to the greens, they roll with an exquisite precision that will leave you in awe. Every putt glides effortlessly, as if guided by an invisible hand. If you seek an unforgettable golfing experience, a place where nature's grandeur meets the thrill of the game, look no further. This is the course that will surpass your wildest expectations and leave an indelible mark on your golfing journey.
Very well maintained fairways. Greens were average (slower side and some bumps) and the bunkers were quite hard sand (though it hadn’t rained recently). Great layout with lots of bunkers that makes you think. Nice range with balls pre-stacked. Overall a very nice course and would definitely play again. 4 stars because price point felt high relative to other courses at that point. In comparison to the more popular Links @ Crow Bush which has ocean views, this course was actually more fun from a golf perspective (10 handicap)
