“Cash only admission! Very small place, but very informative and friendly staff ready to educate further or answer any questions. Clean bathroom, and some great local recommendations from the ladies working there. Learned a ton about different shells and pesky and predators to shellfish!”

“We were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed this museum. We attended a potato museum in Blackfoot, ID. And, we were thinking this one would be pretty much along the same lines. Boy! We were wrong. This potato museum goes into depth about the history of the potato, how the Eurporeans 'discovered' it, how it is planted and seeded today, how it is harvested and the various kinds of diseases and pest that can infect the potato. The videos were professonally done, and we enjoyed watching them. There is a section that has a lot of old farming equipment used to plant and harvest the potato. The added bonus was a bit of history for the local area. All in all we were very impressed. Highly recommend this museum.”

“Really great area of PEI National Park - the rocky red sandstone coast is right by the road, with plenty of beach areas to the sides. There's lots of area for walking and biking. There's two main parking spots on this side of the park. Plenty of very nice lookout points.”

“This venue is like a British soap opera -- hasn't changed much in 20+ years since I visited it as a kid. Still a great activity when beach-time is not an option. Basically a permanent midway with a few extra activities like mini golf and bumper boats. Compared to a traditional mid-way, the bracelet prices are reasonable ($32/person in 2023). If you take part in more than 4 activities, your bracelet pays for itself. I have kids aged 10-16 and there were enough activities to justify the expense ($175 taxes in for a family of 5 -- we spent 3+ hours there and the kids said it was the highlight of our stay on the Island). It is important to know that go-karts and carnival games are NOT included in the bracelet and cost around $8/activity. Was a life-saver on an overcast day on the Island. The Cyclone is still one of the best mini roller coasters in the world and my kids were able to ride it 3 times in less than an hour. Lineups are "Costco"-like...they move fast and are worth the wait. Biggest downside is the number of rides that are down for maintenance without announcement. Two rides were out of service -- something you don't know before buying a ticket. Having said that, compared to prices at the Capital Exhibition in Ottawa (and the time spent waiting in lines), this was a good use of time and money for a younger family in PEI.”

“This place was pretty neat. We didn't eat at the restaurant thee but we did partake in the museuma that was there. The Ripley's had a thing that looked like a HUGE lite bright(for those who know what I am talking about) which was a big hit! Definitely a place to visit with kids. They have mini golf. We loved that until we got rained on! Great place to take the family.”

“Toughest minigolf course ever! Bunkers in minigolf? This was crazy and so par 2, par 3 and par 4 holes were sometimes bogies and even double bogies. They had a lot of other attractions, some came in packages, but we got here just before closing and didn't have time for the rest. Cool art work. Lots of parking!”

“I am saddened and appalled that anyone would give this 1 star. If you've read and loved the books, this homestead site will stir your soul. I was crying the whole time I walked it, as I looked out over the fields and hills Montgomery looked at, her descriptions were perfection. To think this view inspired her, to think this is where she sat and first wrote Anne into existence. I could come back over and over just to have that feeling again.”

“A magnificent view, though a very high climb on steep stairs to get there. A great beach next to it to walk across with a sand bar next to it (easily accessible, especially further down the beach). Quiet as well, with some cool rocks and the water wasn't very cold at all.”

“Nice little campground. Very laid back atmosphere and right on the water. The beach was beautiful and not super crowded. Water was very warm and a delight to swim in. Washroom facilities were inspected/or cleaned every hour so they were always pleasant. Park is dog friendly so long as they're on leash. We're many furry animals out for walks around the park. There were even a couple cats tied out at one trailer. Only downside of the park is the beating it took from Fiona. The pictures of U7 to U11 show lots of trees which are no longer there (2023). Also pay attention to the size of each site, some are significantly bigger than others. Without the trees there is no place to set up a tarp and little shelter from the winds as thunderstorms roll in. Other than that the park was great. Lighthouse a short walk in one direction and ice cream available a short walk in the other direction.”

“Really fun time with water park rides as well as a small roller coaster and other attractions. I would say the park is not really suited for teens other than the main water park. There is a small water park for toddlers, which my 3 year old loved. If you buy tickets in advance there is a discount.”

“Visiting Prince Edward Island National Park was an absolute gem - especially at the very beginning of October, which means solitude and silence, except for the sounds of the waves and wind. It is just a short drive from the heart of Charlottetown and is a true coastal paradise that offers something for everyone. One of the standout features of this park is its stunning sandy beaches. The golden sands stretch endlessly, making it the perfect spot for a day of sun and surf. Whether you're building sandcastles, taking a leisurely stroll, or simply basking in the sun, you'll find the beaches here to be both serene and picturesque. The sand dunes are another highlight of Prince Edward Island National Park. They are a natural wonder, rising like gentle giants along the coastline. You can hike through the park, enjoying the breathtaking vistas and the tranquil sound of the waves crashing nearby. The boardwalks in the park provide an easy way to explore the diverse ecosystems and landscapes. They are well-maintained and offer fantastic views, making them perfect for a leisurely stroll or a more extensive hike. After a day of walking, lounging, and playing in the sand, you'll be pleased to know that the park provides facilities for washing off the sand. It's a practical touch that ensures you can leave the beach feeling refreshed and clean. Prince Edward Island National Park is a must-visit destination for anyone exploring PEI. With its sandy beaches, mesmerizing sand dunes, and convenient amenities, it's the perfect place to connect with nature and unwind by the sea. Don't miss the opportunity to experience this coastal paradise for yourself!”
