“This is a great place for some fine dining. Wanna go a little more causal? I saw several people picking up orders and taking them out to picnic tables. There is also the operation of eating on the patio Either way, you are going to enjoy the seafood here. We ordered the Digger Dip for an appetizer. For the entreé we had the Oven Baked Haddock and the Fish Burger. It was very good. Excellent service from our delightful server, Miss Jenny. Quick with the orders. Everything was perfect. Bathrooms are super clean and have plenty of soap, towels, and hot water. Our only complaint might be the limited amount of parking.”

“This place is owned and operated by a local, Pauline Kelly, whom we met while we were there. A truly unique and affordable experience awaits you. My husband tried their homemade Mac & cheese, blueberry pie and Ice cream. I had the Tomato Basil soup & a biscuit, also homemade and my friend had Homemade Chili and a sandwich. There is also a farmers market on on Saturdays (organic products) and a beautiful artisan shop that sells locally made products such as quilts, paintings, cedar chests (small & Large).and numerous other items. A beautiful, comfortable, small dining room, accessible and clean washroom, a wheelchair ramp. Pauline has lots of plans like a pub, a is having a book sign w entertainment very soon. This place deserves lots of customers and wonderful reviews.”

“My wife Jen and I were going out for dinner and stumbled on 1888 Pub. We throughly enjoyed our meals, mine was the Captain's Platter and Jen's was the Herb roasted chicken with veggies. Both meals exceeded our expectations. Our server Jennifer was very attentive and very pleasant. An awesome experience!”

“We stayed for two days/2 nights at this beautiful resort. From the moment we walked through the doors to the time we left we were treated like royalty. We ate at both restaurants and the food was amazing. Highly recommend the fettuccine Alfredo at the Gordon! There is lots to do for kids and adults. We ended each night by the outdoor fire pit and s'mores. You won't regret your stay! 5 stars!”
