A charming and full with local products. Very fresh. Bought some liquor from Deep Roots, some local honey (canoe Cove honey), sourdough olive bread and garlic bread (sorry, but can't remember the baker, but remember her lovely smile) and across from her- we bought some extremely good cheeses. Coffee beans and fresh strawberries. One can eat there, we took it to the rv and enjoyed a king worth of a breakfast.
Come, by, enjoy!
P.s. how could I forget about the apple cider (made from local wild once)
A very good place to pass by in Charlottetown, especially on Wednesday's. You'll find a lot of local products coming fresh from the farms for reasonable prices.
Charletown Farmers Market is a true gem! From vibrant produce to local crafts, it's a delightful hub of community spirit. The atmosphere is warm, the vendors are friendly, and the range of offerings is fantastic. A must-visit for anyone seeking fresh finds and good vibes.
Nice farmer's market. We picked up some produce to go along with some lobster we had picked up elsewhere. We got sweet potatoes, carrots, mixed greens, lentil soup, vegan garlic aioli across a variety of stores.
We also got some dessert from Angelika's bakery. All her baked goods are mouthwatering.
Smoothie place near one of the entrances was decent. A bit pricey for what you get. Cash only (I'd say half the establishments were cash only).
There are two ATMs in the farmers market. They charge $3 CAD to use.
Many fresh vegetables and fruits are available. I bought tiny bottled rocky point sand. It is believed to have some luck.
Local apple cider is good.
