Following my initial review from about a week ago expressing disappointment with the quality of meat cuts I purchased, management reached out to me and arranged to make things right. Kudos to KJL Meats…they take customer satisfaction seriously!

Disappointed! Bought two Rib Eye steaks.
Paid $59.09/kg at the Riverside Market. Got them home and my wife said they don't look like Rib Eye. I cooked them medium and medium rare but she was right. They were tough as a boot...think they were sirlion cuts. Disappointed as the week before we had the smoked pork chops from the North River outlet and they were delicious.

Fresh and local. Large selection. The maple bacon is amazing! Carry a good variety of local sauces. Tasty coleslaw and potato salad; grab early in the day because it's usually sold out by the late afternoon.

Excellent service and they always have a brisket on hand when I need it. Love their meat selection and quality of cuts.
