When we arrived, there were 6or 7 ppl waiting for their food and only one poor lady was cooking and serving. We waited for 20min. and she couldn’t make it to get our order so we had to leave for the Ferry. There were more local ppl keep coming in so I am sure the food’d be decent. The lady was very polite and friendly and I wish we had more time.
Splendid home-cooking.The Irish-English breakfast is a thing of beauty and will get you throughout the day with a smile on your face. Just when you might be feeling hungry again, have one of the tarts you bought to go.
The best dessert I've ever had, the banana and caramel tart is out of this world and the fish and chips are the best on the island. This is coming from two city gals who travel the world and know good food. Highly recommend it.!
A little gem tucked away on PEI.. delicious hamburger with homemade bun was very good. Loved the home cooked fries.. my husband had chicken pot pie which was delicious! My only problem was too much food lol! The owner is such a fire cracker.. please don’t change because you definitely add a friendly touch to the place!
My first impression of this place was it looked a little rough on the outside and a bit on the inside ! It was also a bit off the beaten path! The owner should be a bit more professional looking if she is the server with the customers but after summarizing it all up it still was a gem of a place!
We were there on a Monday afternoon and we didn’t have many options but the food quality and the level of service was amazing!! We were given a free appetizer and the server was the funniest lady, her jokes and conversation were worth going for alone. I would suggest to go on the weekend maybe for more choice. But I would recommend this place to anyone visiting PEI
