Fourth year tenting here with my little one, she likes it but the place could probably put a little more effort and time into things. No soap dispenser in our closet bathrooms, one little boy told me it's because someone keeps stealing them. Well put a better box around it, one you can't remove. Soap shouldn't be a luxury after you use the bathroom. It's been a wet year and there's many ruts filled with mud and muddy conditions, perhaps some topsoil and grass seed would help next spring. It's a, massive campground with lots to do and good location, spend a little on the extras to keep yourself a top notch place.
We went for a week vacation with our 3 children (ages 7, 9 and 15). We enjoyed our time and the kids had a fantastic time - lots to do with the parks, bouncy pillows, water park and so much more. Also great for them to be able to ride their bikes around. Sites are roomy (huge) and fire pit was great!!! We can’t wait till next year!! We will be back for sure
Water park is really cool for kids. I was surprised to see how big it was. Lots of fun playgrounds all over the grounds. Restaurant is decent. Sites and washrooms were clean. My only suggestion would be to offer a shuttle service or even a bike rental for the people who are in RVs to get to the beach or other attractions. My wife and walked to the beach with out 6 and 1.5 year Olds. It's not a super long walk but there are big hills and I'm options to explore more of the beautiful surrounds would be another great thing to offer.
This place is huge! Lots of families. Kids love it here. We were with Fantasy Tour group as our last stop on a 49 day tour. Wonderful owner & staff prepared our grand finale dinner and breakfast to say final farewell. Beautiful area, Anne of Green Gables close, nice golfing very close.
We enjoyed the one day we went for!
We rented an un serviced tent site, it was a mere 2/5 stars for the site condition it self. It was a very muddy area. And no coverage from fallen trees so we were baking In the sun constantly , We intended to just stay for a day and let our children Rome around and enjoy the day in the sun and we loved the water park it was clean and well kept, no complaints on that.
We would loved to see the golf carts being operated by adults with respect, and responsibility rather than teens who couldn’t slow down or watch out for walkers, the washrooms had hot water and were very clean, minus the no toilet paper when we went in. Next time we go we will be going to a 2way serviced location and hopefully don’t get a cruddy location.
