Stunning and very romantic venue!!! The entire property is breath taking and there is an amazing charm with the entire village of Victoria by the Sea. Marly is absolutely incredible at what she does and we cannot thank her enough for everything she did for us. She is probably one of the sweetest people we have ever met and she really made our day so incredibly special. We originally had planned a small wedding but decided to elope during the pandemic of August 2020 instead. We had some challenges/changes thrown our way planning from NB but she helped plan, book, organize etc. throughout. We are so grateful for everything she did, as well as Karina on the day of our wedding. They helped make our entire day so memorable for us:). I highly recommend booking your special event at The Grand Victorian!!
Wow. That is all I have to say - Simply wow. Marly and Greg Anderson are everything you could have ever wanted for a wedding venue. Venue, stunning. Wedding commissioner (Greg), kind and caring. Marly, diligent, kind and professional. It really is everything it states and more. Pricing is fair. Would recommend to anyone and everyone. From a 5 person wedding to a 100 person wedding. They do it all. So happy with the service. They helped make my wedding day. Thank you ❤️
What a venue! So elegant and romantic. Marly and the whole team here are total professionals. Communication is amazing and they truly go above and beyond. The town itself is a treasure - it's quaint, charming and feels like a page out of a storybook.
We stopped in last week for 'high tea' / late lunch. I believe they offer this on Mon-Wed only (The rest of the week they are doing weddings etc). The high tea is 'very proper' and 'very generous' - lots of sweets, a very nice assortment / including sandwiches and - everything is fresh, delish/very tasty. My wife ordered the high tea / and I helped with a few things a tiny bit / and I had the soup and sandwich, which was superb. Especially found the chicken salad (cranberries in there?! yum!) was probably the best I've ever tasted. The space itself is lovely, and the service was very good. Certainly highly recommended if you enjoy a "high tea" experience and are visiting / in the area / at the right time of the week.
We stayed here for a night in October for a little getaway weekend, and what a find! This church has been brought back to life with a wonderful renovation which includes a fabulous suite upstairs. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the ambience and decor. Marley, co-owner, gave us a warm greeting and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. This was the perfect place to unwind and rest our heads in beautiful Victoria by the Sea. Highly recommend!
