Pourvoirie ECO Camachigama

The place is simply beautiful, and the fishing experience is nothing short of extraordinary.
In addition, the place is well maintained and impeccably clean!
I highly recommend this destination to anyone who wants a real fishing adventure :)

Magnificent place, the lake is immense and nature is omnipresent, with its beaches, its vegetation and the well-present fauna. The fishing is really good there too. A little paradise on earth to be absolutely preserved. The staff is also very friendly, Patricia, Yannick and Rob the owner were great hosts. I recommend everyone to go there one day. This place is magical.

Sadly, after approximately 18 years of incredible experiences coming to this outfitter, we will not be able to afford going this year. In truth, we have been going through three different ownership changes. Rob seems to want to bring Camachigama back to the glorious outpost outfitter it once was ( this place has history). However, as a long time customer, I cannot afford the cost warranted to stay for a week with my son and his fiancé. The increase is 100% in price for a week’s stay despite not having completed all the upgrades needed to warrant this price has made coming here prohibitive.
Rob has tried to offer us a «  deal «  and good for him, but , looking at the location and offering, it is not YET realistic. There are other outfitters in the region offering stays for a comparable price, that seem to be able to offer much more. I did my research.
Camachigama is beautiful, and the memories will stay with me forever, however, I know of three other long time customers ( groups) who will not be able to afford the stay.
It’s too bad. I understand that times change and moves forward, but believe that customer loyalty is supposed to mean something. Hopefully, in the near future, Rob will contact us and try to bring us back into the fold.

For the rest of you, who can afford to pay more than is worth for a small patch of paradise, go - it’s a beautiful place.... try bottom bouncers with a 3 foot smell ( chartreuse) at the pass behind the island at dusk-!

New owner since 2019. Lots of renovations and beautiful projects to come.
