“Awesome cabins fully winterized for snowmobile adventures. Operations are decently fluent in english and are very accommodating! Food was also delicious at the resteraunt! Need better signage from public quebec trails as our group and annother group both got lost on our way to the lodge. The trail to the lodge is not on the quebec trail system map so be aware of that and get your route mapped out by a local before heading out!”

“Sadly, after approximately 18 years of incredible experiences coming to this outfitter, we will not be able to afford going this year. In truth, we have been going through three different ownership changes. Rob seems to want to bring Camachigama back to the glorious outpost outfitter it once was ( this place has history). However, as a long time customer, I cannot afford the cost warranted to stay for a week with my son and his fiancé. The increase is 100% in price for a week’s stay despite not having completed all the upgrades needed to warrant this price has made coming here prohibitive. Rob has tried to offer us a « deal « and good for him, but , looking at the location and offering, it is not YET realistic. There are other outfitters in the region offering stays for a comparable price, that seem to be able to offer much more. I did my research. Camachigama is beautiful, and the memories will stay with me forever, however, I know of three other long time customers ( groups) who will not be able to afford the stay. It’s too bad. I understand that times change and moves forward, but believe that customer loyalty is supposed to mean something. Hopefully, in the near future, Rob will contact us and try to bring us back into the fold. For the rest of you, who can afford to pay more than is worth for a small patch of paradise, go - it’s a beautiful place.... try bottom bouncers with a 3 foot smell ( chartreuse) at the pass behind the island at dusk-! See all of the great staff soon ( I hope)”

“Been here a few times for dinner and dim sum. Gave it another visit this weekend and it did not disappoint. Tons of parking outside unlike other plazas in the area. The restaurant is big and the decor is nice. The service is great. They're constantly filling up water and they even changed our plates mid-way! The food was delicious. Dim sum here is definitely on the pricier side and they do not have early tea specials (same price for all sizes). We got seated right away on a Sunday at noon. Great experience.”

“This was the second time my group has come to the lodge. A few members of the group had come numerous times before. The lodge itself is great. The cabins are clean and functional and provide everything you need! All that being said, I had a specific issue with my boat. I went down to the office in the morning wondering if I could talk to someone about my issue. A gentleman in the office said he will take a look. I needed a small part for my motor. He made a number of calls to friends and confirmed that the part can be delivered to the lodge in 3 hours. Needless to say he looked after me, gave me a rental with no questions asked so we did not miss our morning fish and had my boat fixed by mid afternoon. I found out a few days later the guy that helped me was the owner of the lodge! Everybody that works this is a class act and does the best to make sure their clients are happy! I see now they follow the owners model of service!”
