“We went there as a family. 2 adults and a 2 year old. The hostest Linda and her husband were so friendly and welcomed us. Our daughter loved her experience seeing the geese, chicken, ducks and being in the countryside . Linda has so much love for her birds you feel the passion and really helped my 2 year old have a positive experience with the birds. The place is super clean. I highly recommend the meal. It was so generous and delicious.we had duck confit with colorful vegetables and slices of duck on salad with homemade fresh bread. Dessert was chocolate cake with ice cream. The land has a few paths you can take to walk around and a pond with fishes and places to sit for picnic. It was really wonderful. We will sure to be back.”

“We were looking for a place to Stay while visiting the Granby Zoo. Very happy I found this place online. I was a little worried about the showers based on previous reviews, but they were fine (didn't stay on a weekend, maybe they run out of hot water then?). Popped in a looney and had plenty of time to wash up. I was actually waiting for a few minutes because I rushed a little too much. My wife has lots of hair, so in this case bring two loonies. If you're like me an think "charging for a shower is silly, and I don't like it", you (like me) are wrong in thinking this. The cost is low, and it prevents people from abusing the showers and wasting all the hot water. Anyway, enough about the showers. The bathrooms are clean, and cleaned regularly. I don't "glamp", but I do like a clean place to get clean. We were camping with a Tent and the sites were large. Plenty of room for our 8 person tent, our kitchen tent, and the minivan. A lot of site back on to a nice large field that can be used for frisby, bocce or any other fun activity. The pool was very nice. Perfect temperature. The playgrounds were also great for the kids. Of course the giant bubble and splashpad are also a hit with the kids. This really is a great place for the family. If you don't have kids, don't worry, the loud activities are spaced away from the camp sites (the seasonal campers need to deal with the noise!) The front office has a decent selection of items you might need. I grabbed some marshmallows and a few beers, and they have very reasonable pricing. I can't recommend this place enough. If you're in the neighbourhood, or you're visiting the Zoo, stay at this place! (they also have nice looking cabins for rent if you don't want to sleep in a tent and/or don't own a trailer).”

“We had an absolutely fantastic weekend here. It's got such a cozy feeling you can't help but relax as soon as you step in. The rooms are very nicely decorated and themed, the baths are very clean and you have a nice view of the nearby River from each of them. Our favorite was the Japanese bath which was a small wooden oval that has no chemicals of any kind in it. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help with anything you need. I will most certainly be coming back.”

“Highly recommended!! The place is medieval themed (obviously), with such decorations everywhere you look. Quaint and cozy! The hostess knew adequate English to get by (my French vocabulary is nearly nonexistent), and they were very, very, very accommodating and helpful! Our room adjoined the dining room, and we had a private bathroom. I did not see any of the other rooms, but I understand they have an even nicer suite upstairs. We had a splendid stay, and we were sad our stay was only one night. We were given a tour of the basement where the 2,300 medieval costumes are stored. Amazing! The breakfast topped it all!! Raspberry smoothies, toast, croissants, yogurt, fruit, waffles and real maple syrup, juice, coffee.... all served on fine dishes in the beautiful dining room. After breakfast we walked around the grounds on the unique waking trails, over a little bridge by a pond, past the mini farm (where the eggs from breakfast come..), by the mini castle... Again, certainly five stars as it all exceeded our expectations! Merci beaucoup!!”
