Domaine de la Rivière Perdue

As a cottage, this place is OK. The location is close to Montreal (75 minutes drive). You can do hiking around the cottage. The owner was nice and helpful. Make sure the hot tub is clean before you use it. We had a number of upset stomachs after using the hot tub. Internet was not reliable and cell coverage is spotty.

Stunning view. Clear blue waters

Huge house. 9 bedrooms. Easily sleeps 25 people. There is a big kitchen with 2 refrigerators, a dish washer, serveral coffee makers and an extensive array of glasses and cookware. The dinning room table can seat 30 people. There is also a wood stove. The living room has a large screen television and a sound system. It also has a wood burning stove. There is plenty of room in the entrance hall for all coats and boots. At back of the ground floor patio doors lead to a huge porch. There are two gas grills and plenty of chairs. Mountains and a fast flowing river contribute to a splendid view. There is also a spa, swimming pool and an exterior fireplace. Hiking, kayaking and several winter activities can be enjoyed directly from this property. The basement portion of this property houses a full size pool table, a ping pong table, a card table and a baby foot game. All and all a great place for family get-togethers.

A beautiful and secluded resort. We rented this location for 2 days as part of a work retreat. There were ample locations to sit and relax, and a few bonus amenities like a hot tub, pool table and punching bag. The kitchen was bright and spacious and the high-ceilings bedrooms were all very clean and nicely decorated. The views from the cabin were spectacular and I wish I had the time to go hiking around in the hills.

Beautiful place with plenty of room and high end finishings. Great for a big get together.
