Cammac Music Centre

An amazing organization with dedicated staff. Truly a beautiful experience for musicians and staff alike. There are trails all around to go hiking, shacks in the woods with pianos, a beautiful concert hall and all of this facing Lake Mcdonald.

This is one of my favourite destinations for the past thirty years. The place is beautiful. If you have a chance to go to one of their Sunday concert/brunch it is a memorable experience. The music is of high caliber, be it a solo recital, a duo, trio, quartet or quintet. The acoustics is great. The whole building was rebuilt with green architecture. Heating and cooling fron underground, and roof garden. The dining room still features some doors and windows from the old building. Lake MacDonald is calm, clean and serene. Just the right surrounding for chamber music or even world music, such as gypsy music. Anyone who heard the Alcan quartet at Cammac, would gladly come back. I have to go back to take photos.

My daughter had a wonderful week at Cammac. She is already asking about attending next year.

Very nice the. I haven't played piano in 3 years and she helped me and now I'm confident I can play some intermediate songs. The food was great and lunch and dinner had desserts. Swimming in lake McDonald was fun. We found a spot with over 200 clams and it looked really amazing. Thank you cammac.
