Motel Bellevue

For anyone wanting to experience this part of the St. Lawrence River, the location is stunning. And the motel does have lovely patios with views of the river. The unit in which we stayed was also relatively new, i.e. fresh flooring and shower stall etc. So far, so good....

Unfortunately though, the interior of the room needed some serious sprucing up to meet modern motel standards. The bedspreads and curtains were laughably old, the fridge, coffee machine and TV basically the cheapest Walmart sells. The end result was therefore quite a banal and dreary impression, unnecessarily so.

I'm sure the motel makes money ; it wouldn't cost a great deal to make the rooms significantly more charming. Otherwise....best to hope for excellent weather.

It is a 2-star motel, but we really enjoyed it. Beware of the ferry horn at 8am :) The extra thank you goes for the ability to charge an EV car for free (just a little bit through an ordinary power outlet, but still enough to get to the fast charger of choice)

The place is correct and the view is nice but the price is quite expensive if i compare to other hotel that I had for the same price. Also note that if you plan to cook there you need to bring everything there are almost no cooking tool. I also suggest that you bring a portable BBQ.
