A beautiful, quaint home with a waterfall next to the house. Our hosts were friendly and hospitable. We had a very clean, quiet room. It was an absolute pleasure to be there and will return again.
We stayed here a few times in the last 6 years and were very disappointed that it was full up this year when we wanted to travel.
Roland and Francine are wonderful hosts and everything about this place is awesome!!! Will miss not staying there this year.
Outstanding experience. The proprietors are friendly and happy to work with our questionable Ontario french. If you want to experience French Canada, this is a marvelous way to do it. Breakfast was varied and excellent. They went out of their way to look after food allergies. At night you fall asleep to the sound of the waterfall next to the house with the salty tang of sea air from the St Lawrence clearing you sinuses. I can't recommend this highly enough. You also get a world class sunset a 1 minute walk down to the shore.
The hosts were so friendly and nice. The place was sparkling clean. The bed was like sleeping on clouds, it was so comfortable! The breakfast was amazing. We recommend this place to everyone!
Fantastic B & B that I highly recommend for a cozy home away from home. Our host Mr Colbert was very friendly and speaks both French & English. Very knowledgeable of the local scene. We were met with a lovely warm fire place as we walked in something we welcomed as it was only 5 degrees that day.
Very comfortable & clean rooms, good size bathrooms and an upstairs area with a large dinning/kitchen area and living room with TV.
The location is exquisite! Left of the house is a rushing waterfall, the front view is of the Ste. Laurence River and the hills & trees just add to the entire "picture perfect".
The breakfast by the way was 5-star first class. Superb. (and that's a tall order coming from fussy me). Marie-Louise Johnson
