“Bar in one dark and bare room, eatery in the pleasantly windowed room next to it (no A/C but plenty of air), umbrellaed terrasse just outside. Great cooking and not cheap (but OK). Varied choice of wine and spirits. On this warm sunny August afternoon of 2016, I much enjoyed the crispy beer cod fish & chip plate, with beer-infused fries. Sautéed veggies were good but a little too greasy. Love the cold water served in a heavy, chilled, clear-glass bottle. Very friendly service. Good coffee. $20 tab (no alcoholic bev., not counting tip).”
