(December 10, 2019, 1:35 pm)We had a great lunch at a la Fontaine. They had a special menu with a choice of soup or salad, and choice of several main dishes. I had a salad, my wife chose the soup. We both had beef bourgonion. Tea or coffee completed the deal. It was a good value,and very tasty. The service was top-notch, and the restaurant itself was charming. I would be interested in learning more about the hotel part of the business.
Highly recommended, and we will return. I neglected to mention that as an anglophone from the U.S, the whole experience in Sutton seems a little exotic with everyone speaking French. That being said, our hosts at La Fontaine were quite proficient in, and willing to converse in English. Part of the fun for me is to try speaking French, and they made me feel at ease with my less than fluent French. Two thumbs up.
