“We drove past the unassuming entrance at least 10 times before we thought we should stop and have a look. It was AMAZING. The layout is great, lots of information, lots of places to just chill and enjoy the scenery and plenty of places to spot belugas. The guides were helpful in both French and English in explaining everything. If you're in the area this is a must visit attraction”

“Not the best but not the worst. Rooms are clean but small, service is great and the view is spectacular! Hot water runs in the toilets so leave the seat up or the condensation will give you a big wet surprise. The mattress we had was VERY firm, almost better to have slept on the floor. We had asked for a cottage with a view but we booked last minute and got a semi detached cottage across the street from the cottages with a view. Restaurant closes at 8pm so get in early as the is literally no other place to go eat after 9pm in the whole town!”

“We needed a quick place to eat before we got on the whale tour. There are few restaurants in the area and they all seemed about equal. We chose this one and it indeed was fast. They had simple dishes like salads soups poutine and some other favorites. Fast and efficient with a good view to the river.”

“This is a must visit. My husband and I came here for dinner with our 6-year old son. Genevieve, our server, was so kind and generous. She made my 6-year old feel so special. And the food was wonderful. My son theoughoughly enjoyed the tourtiere and my husband said the cassoulet was one of the best meals he's had. As a vegan, I appreciated the effort and love that was taken to make the ratouille. Can't wait to stay here in the future. Great food and ambience.”

“The construction of the church in Baie Ste-Catherine in 1908 was inspired by the local tradition of wooden churches and chapels built before 1940. It is located in the heart of the village, very close to the adjoining cemetery. The view from the steeples over the bay at the entrance to the Saguenay Fjord is simply majestic. A stop will allow you to appreciate it at its fair value.”

“Absolutely the best bed-and-breakfast I have ever been to! The owners are extremely warm friendly and helpful. The rooms are quaint cozy and the house is extremely quiet. We spent a wonderful night there. The prices are extremely affordable and the breakfasts are fantastic, you definitely will not be disappointed by the choice and quantity of food. he must stay if you are in the Bay Saint Catherine area.”

“Absolutly delightful hosts of a clean home. Delicious homemade bread and jam for breakfast and plenty of coffee. I love the comfy sitting area with a view! Take advantage of the fridge they provide for their guests to bring their fixings for dinner as there's no place to get dinner in the evening. The only other thought is I *think* all 4 bedrooms upstairs share the bathroom.”

“We stayed here 1 night on the labor day weekend 2020. Hotel doesn't look fancy from the outside. The rooms are all recently nicely renovated and clean. The beds are comfortable. Has a small fridge also. I recommend and would stay again. Front desk person can speak English reasonably well.”
