“We drove past the unassuming entrance at least 10 times before we thought we should stop and have a look. It was AMAZING. The layout is great, lots of information, lots of places to just chill and enjoy the scenery and plenty of places to spot belugas. The guides were helpful in both French and English in explaining everything. If you're in the area this is a must visit attraction”

“Boat ride was nice. We saw many sea birds, seals, Fjord views but only a very brief Beluga whale siting. Bus ride from Quebec City was okay. 3 hours each way. Small bus with marginal A/C.”

“We caught the train as a family to Baie Saint Paul. The train itself is comfortable and clean and the service is very good. The boarding experience was just slow and painful given everyone had electronic tickets and the train is only two carriages long. The just over two hour ride between rivet and mountains was very enjoyable. My kids even looked up from their phones a solid three to four times each. End of August the weather was warm, the flowers are out and everything was looking very green. The train station was also very nice and located close to the centre of town and the rest of the section. All in all we had a great time. A train ride like this really deserves and older train but that is really my only niggle. Great time had by all.”

“Loved loved loved the meal my family had for lunch at the food truck! Delicious, fresh ingredients. The service was impeccable. The tomato salad was beautifully delicious. The cheeseburgers were scrumptious and the poutine was on point! I highly recommend the spot as it also values local ingredients including the cheese. Bravo to the team behind the idea!!”

“What a great place to bike and hike in the summer. Le Massif is surely better known for its skiing, however we went during the summer and it was great. You can park at the bottom or the top of the hill and bike or hike the many trails. You can use the lifts as well (for a cost) if you like but it is not required to access the trails. Parking was easy and the chair lift is reasonably priced and has nice views. There are also lots of guides if you would like one or walk/bike around freely, but note that there is no one supervising you, thus best to be two just in case.”

“Go for the skiing ; not the apres-ski: Fantastic ski terrain and we hit it perfectly for snow. The lodge amenities are adequate but not great. Both lodges feature adequate to limited food, pretty limited beverage options and and even more limited taps. So, if you really look forward to having fun after the day of skiing, go somewhere else! BUT, if you want a great quiver of ski terrain, Le Massif is hard to beat regionally. I think overall I prefer Jay Peak but this is a great ski destination.”

“Nice place for a short stop on the north of the island. Walk up the observatory to the top and get a wonderful of the whole area. You can get some great pictures. There’s a nice little playground if you have kids. And when I was there, there was a food truck that looked like it had decent food (hamburgers etc). Best of all, it also has a decent toilet.”
