I was a bit worried about appearances when we arrived. There's a weird tower that looks mainly abandoned. After being seating inside the restaurant, I was expecting an average meal, but was pleasantly surprised by the cod and the lobster rolls we had. The seafood tasted very fresh and was prepared nicely.
The staff was nice and respecting of COVID-19 social distancing and etc. The recommendations they made to me were all very good.
There was good spacing between tables in-use and the atmosphere was nice.
Pretty good restaurant overall, it has its pros and cons.
Pros: GREAT view, friendly service, nice variety of food, well priced (as long as your don't get the "Table d'Hote" - the food included in it, is not worth it), drinks are well priced.
Cons: Charcuterie board is overpriced, mains included with the table d'Hote are average at best.
If I would return, I would opt for the classic's such as a poutine, pizza, burger, etc. as supposed to the fish n' chips, duck thigh or shrimp
Very nice setting and good variety in the menu. It's not gourmet but it hits the spot very nicely. Fantastic view of the river on the patio.
Nice place but they took too long to get us the food and when it arrived, what a disappointment!! I ordered the chicken brochette and literally they brought 5 little squares of chicken with a little bit of rice and 3 baby potatoes with "salad" for $22 + tax. The hamburger I will totally recommended, that is the only thing that is gonna fill your hunger.
