“Mostly bilingual interesting and beautiful museum. Good for the whole family, although climbing on boats is probably not advisable for those with mobility issues.”

“Pioui trail is the best. Intermediate difficulty, takes you on a loop via 3 really nice observation spots on top of the mountains. Conveniently starts at the parking lot of the info-centre of the park. Recommend hiking early to skip the heat and many people. A big part of a trail is through tight rough and rocky way. Overall - amazing experience!”

“hands down the best hiking trails i've had a chance to witness in Quebec. The Sentier des Sommets and Mont du Lac à L'empêche offer tremendous views of the magnificent Charlevoix landscape.”

“Lovely lady at the reception. She gave us a BBQ grill when we couldn't have a campfire because the area is too dry. Great stay”

“Beautiful trails but, as someone already mentioned above, not many lookouts or points of interest. I have done the whole 103 km section twice and would recommend it. Best suitable for small groups. Chalets are nice but there is little comfort as you can expect from remote rustic cabins in the woods.”

“Love this campground. Our site was somewhat close to the river and was peaceful. The washrooms & showers are renovated and very clean for a camp site. It's too bad many people don't make the effort to keep the doors shut. Because of that, the washroom doors should have door springs. The pool, the billiard pool in the recreation room, the little farm and the wild ducks that ate from our hands was a nice bonus. We went solo kayaking down the Riviere au Gouffre thanks to Katabatik that rents kayaks, it was great. We plan to go back for sure.”

“Nice staff but for some reason it made me pay twice my reservation even when I showed a confirmation of payment at the counter. I called them to get a reimbursement after I verified my banking statement a couple days later. The agent on the phone was very quick and efficient at assisting me and she initiated the refund within minutes. I would still recommend this accommodation despite what happened. Great location and friendly staff.”

“I'm a 50+ male and know about ten words of French. This was a convenient stop on a Labrador motorcycle trip. The facilities are fantastic, with an on-site cafe featuring delicious, healthy, and locally sourced fare at times convenient to travellers, and clean spacious bathrooms. There's immediate access to a fantastic network of hiking trails and the Massif resort. The amazing part, was the warm welcome I received at the campfire, the punk-rock concert in the sugar house, and in the cafe, from both staff and visitors, all French speakers. Compared to all the places I've given 5 stars, Camping deserves 6. Merci beaucoup!”

“Well groomed trails, well signed, good variety from moderately easy to easy advanced. Friendly staff. Bring your own water. No potable water at the center.”
