“We had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The room is beautiful and extremely clean and comfortable. There is a whimsy in the smallest details, from new and fluffy bathrobes, to the king size bed with comforter that smells like new. A Nespresso machine in the room gives that nice breakfast smell to coffee lovers like me. A hot tub heated to 38 degrees completes your pool bath. The entire hotel staff is extremely kind, especially those who work serving breakfast.”

“This was a last minute booking for us. Host was adorable, sweet and accommodating. There was a language barrier for my husband and myself as we are not french, but Silvie was fun to work with us. She has a beautiful B and B, and her breakfast was AMAZING. She is very interested in chatting with her guests to get to know them and talk of the history of her area. She also recommended and made dinner reservations for us which did not disappoint! A MUST place to spot in this quaint little village!!!!”

“I love this hotel, the pool, hot tub and sauna are lovely and rooms are very nice, comfortable and clean. The only negative is the restaurant: nice atmosphere, decent service but tasteless food.The food does not live up to the quality of the rest of the hotel services. They would greatly benefit from getting a better chef. We're it not for the disappointing food I would have given 5 stars. Also there doesn't seem to be a whole lot to do in the area and it's a bit far from Quebec city.”

“My son and I stayed at La Friche Couette et Cafe during March break as my son had a snowboard race nearby at Mt. Orignal. (ten minutes away!) It's just on the outskirts of Lac Etchemin village so it's like being in the country but only 5 minutes drive from the village. We had a great stay at this awesome B&B. The hosts were very attentive, helpful, gave us lots of recommendations nearby for restaurants and anything else we needed. The rooms were spotless, warm, comfortable and we both had the best stay. Breakfast was great too! Great coffee as well. This is a wonderful place, highly recommended!”
