We had such an enjoyable time meeting and chatting with Nicole, the owner. It was interesting hearing about soapmaking and her experience living in the Eastern Townships. My husband was thrilled to meet her 2 horses! I ended up buying some of the special soaps, like one with sand for exfoliation and another cofee-based one to remove kitchen odors from the hands. Her liquid soaps are excellent and I bought some with lemon and some with both lemon and lavender.

I washed my hands going into the store with some of the divine liquid soap and I had a contact-free payment experience. It was such an uplifting and personal experience to shop at this lovely soaperie/ savonnerie; we definitely plan to visit again.

Le savon est le meilleur que j’ai jamais utilisé. The soap is the best I have ever used. It is so gentle that you don’t have to rinse completely. Thera are many fragrances with different types of basic organic materials that are particularly useful to prevent skin irritations. The shop contains many other products including shaving soap, knitted goods and art. It’s a nice place to visit and the horses will welcome you.
