Super friendly and accommodating service. Amazing food offerings as well as visual art and local artisan goods.
Lovely place in Aylmer downtown. You need to enter into cafe, pay and once ready the waitress will bring you the order. They have some sandwiches, including vegan-friendly and a variety of beverages. I loved their gazpacho!
We were biking with a group this fine Saturday , and decided to take a break at Mulligan's after about 37km of riding. Let me tell you the food here is top notch. Lots of vegan options for me which was unexpected. I had the vegan pizza burrito which had vegan cheese and sausage and some veggies. They had a vegan burger and bean based burrito as well. Others in my group had the English muffin breakfast sandwich with egg and bacon and the looks on their faces while they consumed it spoke volumes. The medium roast coffee hit the spot as well. We sat outside at the picnic tables and the food was heated up and brought to us. What a little gem you are , glad to have found you .
Try the green tea lattes and toasted sandwiches while sitting on the patio. Bring your kids. A perfect Saturday.
My overall experience of the cafe is okay but there are a few things about it that make me not particularly fond of this place. The first thing is how tiny the cafe is. Some people would call it cozy, but when this place gets busy (and it often does), there is not much room to walk around, or even sit comfortably. The tables are placed relatively close together making it noisy and very easy to hear other people's conversation. The kitchen is very close to the sitting area which adds to the noise. The cafe has a very nice patio which makes it for a much better experience if you're able to get a table outside during the spring or summer. The drinks are good but the menu has limited options for food, and it is overpriced. I wouldn't recommend this place for lunch. If you are the type of person who brings your laptop to cafes to do work or study, I would not recommend this place for the reasons stated above (in particular the noise and lack of space). I came to this cafe to study, but I found it too noisy and crowded. Thankfully there is a library within walking distance which turned out to be perfect!
