And the way it works is they choose what you eat completely and if someone is allergic to something or you can't eat something because of religion you can tell them to not put any of said food. “We were biking with a group this fine Saturday , and decided to take a break at Mulligan's after about 37km of riding. Let me tell you the food here is top notch. Lots of vegan options for me which was unexpected. I had the vegan pizza burrito which had vegan cheese and sausage and some veggies. They had a vegan burger and bean based burrito as well. Others in my group had the English muffin breakfast sandwich with egg and bacon and the looks on their faces while they consumed it spoke volumes. The medium roast coffee hit the spot as well. We sat outside at the picnic tables and the food was heated up and brought to us. What a little gem you are , glad to have found you .”

“This was my first time going here. Before we walked in, I heard the music playing. We went inside, there was a lot to look at. There was 2 big screen tv’s and the bar area. It’s a split level bar which was really neat. We sat down close to the windows on the second level. That area was most brighter with the lighting. At first, we ordered the Onion rings with dip! They were so good. I looked at the menu and decided to order the Bacon Mac and Cheese. It was delicious. The portion size was huge. Sam our server was very nice!”

“My dad recommended this place that I never knew existed. He was there last month with a friend getting caught up on life and raved about the loonie shaped fried potatoes.? We had brunch after his day surgery last Friday, for cataracts. He had the breakfast and I the Tutti Frutti club on marble rye toast. Good food..good price..friendly and alert waitress..nice atmosphere...I will definitely be going again to try something else.?”

“Drinks were excellent and so reasonably priced. $4.50 for draft beer, wine bottles sold at same price as liquor store, $4.50 shooters, and great mixed drinks $7-10 each. Planning to return just cause the srinks are so good. Pretty good wine selection (barolo $32, amarone $38, brunello $50). The atmosphere is fun. The food is mixed between some good and bad. Nachos sucked. Chips were too thick, almost no meat, not enough toppings. Pouting was excellent as were the Asian chicken tenders. Lobster roll was okay. Servers wore masks correctly. One person working at the front reception desk to seat people had a face shield with no mask and it didn't come down low enough to cover his mouth. Overall the service was very good, food was decent, and drinks excellent.”

The only drawback was the service was a little long, but it was reduced staff due to Covid19, so I won't take a star off unless it's the same "post" Covid. Keep it up Luxx, can't wait to go back.”

“Five stars. Both of our dishes were superb. I can only wish they heat the plate for fingerling potato/ duck confit, as it cools down too quick. Very good cappuccino , I had to get a second one. Friendly service, interesting design of the place. We came here from one of the museum in Ottawa for a good lunch, and we got it. Highly recommend. Parking right in front.”
