“They do what they can. The food is not very good. There is a large common room to gather in and a terrace to sit outside if they wish. They have one activity per day for the residents on weekdays to help keep them stimulated. Most of these residences are quite sad, this one is better than the last one my mom was living in. Update: Since Covid, the activities have been on and off, mostly off. The common room has been stripped of the couches, and only a few armchairs have been returned so far. The administrative assistant, Delia, is the most welcoming and helpful person in that building. The orderlies seem to be very nice to my mother, but if I try to ask them for anything, even just for information, they get very defensive.”

“This place is not for families. It's for people wanting to have a fun intimate time together. If you know what you're going for, it's fine, especially if you just want a place for a few hours. They have some fun funky rooms with large tubs and large showers. Continental breakfast is standard. If you spend a night in one of the funky suites, you get a free wine bottle. They will look at you funny if you ask for 2 nights...apparently that's not a thing people do much there. One thing that is annoying is that there is a mandatory cleaning so if you are spending more than one night, they will actually ask you to vacate your room for half hour. Not cool! If you don't want a room that smells of cigarette smoke, ask for a non smoking room. But if you smoke, it's cool to have the opportunity to smoke inside...a throwback to the 80s! Overall: recommended for the funky rooms if you want to have a good intimate time. Not recommended if you need a night or more of rest, if you are with children, or if you are easily offended by "seedy" behaviour.”

“Thank you Lucy and Fernand so much for your stellar hospitality. Your warmth and kind attention to the comfort of your guests is second to none! I felt like I was staying with family, rather than a guest at a bed and breakfast. That is a quality one cannot request or create, it can only come from people with beautiful hearts!. Merci,Merci! ”
