It is with great pleasure that I write a review for Rachel Santos, Cadance Jazz & Pilates. I have known Rachel both personally and professionally for well over 10 years. Rachel is a beautiful person, with an abundance of knowledge to share with her clients.
As a young adult, I trained with Rachel in her jazz dance classes. From her training in dance and musical theatre at San Jose State University, Rachel brings to her jazz dance classes classical jazz style from her warm-up, to her across the floor, and choreography.
Today, I am a busy dance studio owner & teacher. For this reason, I began training with Rachel in Pilates with the ultimate goal of keeping my body limber, toned, and moving well. As I age, I also came to understand the benefits of Pilates with regard to injury prevention. From the first lesson, Rachel took the time to listen to my perceived strengths and weaknesses, and has tailored each private lesson according to my personal needs. Within weeks, I noticed improvements to my alignment when teaching my own students, as well as feeling more energized and happy throughout my week.
Rachel’s delicate delivery of knowledge creates a class atmosphere that is encouraging, clear, and enjoyable. Rachel brings her sense of humour and contagious laugh to all her classes, making her an absolute joy to be around! I proudly recommend Rachel Santos, Cadance Jazz & Pilates to anyone looking to bring some movement and joy to their week!
Rachel Santos is a dedicated, talented therapist and trainer. Her Pilates and exercise techniques served as physical therapy for my teenager's back issues. Three months of Rachel's sessions resulted in a huge improvement with core strength and significant pain relief. In each of her sessions, Rachel gives thoughtful and skillful care to an individual's condition, utilizing every minute. She is very knowledgeable in physiology and therapy for spine alignment. Her communication is excellent, she successfully delivered many sessions virtually. Prior to Pilates, my teenager had 3 years of training with Rachel, in her Jazz classes. Rachel, a gifted dancer /choreographer, is outstanding in teaching dancers of all levels and various genres. She was able to take my very shy teenager and train her so well that she loves to perform. Rachel makes every dance class fun. Her intricate routines enable the participants to master techniques. Be prepared for a great workout followed by specialized stretching. If you are looking for an enjoyable program to keep fit, I recommend her dance classes.
I found my perfect after-work workout with Cadance Pilates classes! With all the different exercices, I truly feel an improvement in my strength and flexibility! And thanks to Rachel's teaching talent, the atmosphere is always fun! :)
